A 1920s depiction
The Inn At Park Avenue is a completely renovated
Victorian home located in the Historic District in Tallahassee, and listed
on the National Register of Historic Places. Built in 1838, the home offers
large, high-ceilinged rooms, seven beautiful fireplaces, hardwood floors,
and a grand staircase. The Innkeeper is a Tallahassee native whose family
has owned the home for 160 years.
The Inn's location in the historic district
(within walking distance of the Capitol, IMAX theatre, museums, and art
galleries) makes it an ideal place to stay for a leisurely tour of downtown
Tallahassee. For the business traveler, it provides an elegant refuge in a central location within walking distance of some of Tallahassee's finest five-star restaurants. It is just blocks from the Capitol, the Leon County Civic
Center, Florida State University, Doak Campbell Stadium, Florida A&M
University, and the Governor's Square Mall.
